ICU Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a dedicated professional who is adaptable and willing to float to similar units as needed.
Shift Details
- Shift: 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
- 36 hours scheduled per week
- 24 hours guaranteed
- Must be willing to float to similar units or multiple locations within the region
Weekend Requirements
Weekend scheduling will be determined by the facility.
On-Call Requirements
On-call scheduling will be determined by the facility.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide critical care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, intervening as necessary.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 24 months’ experience in an Intensive Care Unit, with recent experience in the last 12 months.
- Active state license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
- Current certifications: NIHSS, ACLS, and BLS from approved organizations.
- No disciplinary actions on the state nursing license.
- Experience with travel nursing is highly preferred.
