ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ICU Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in intensive care and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to establish and implement patient care plans.
• Demonstrate proficiency in life support and emergency procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and conferences.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 7 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
• 36 hours scheduled with 24 hours guaranteed.
• Floating to similar units is required as needed.

Weekend and On-Call Requirements

Weekend and on-call scheduling will be determined by the facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months of recent ICU experience within the last 12 months.
• Active NIHSS certification.
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications from an approved vendor.
• Clean state license to practice nursing, with no violations.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license for residency verification.
• Previous travel nursing experience is highly preferred.

Notes

Applicants must be flexible with locations and nursing departments to expedite the hiring process. Remote time off (RTO) cannot exceed 7 days, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of assignment.
