Sleep Technologist

Job Description

A sleep technologist is credentialed as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) and is responsible for performing duties associated with sleep testing and patient care. This role involves working under the general supervision of the Sleep Lab Medical Director to deliver comprehensive evaluation and treatment for sleep disorders.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct both in-lab and home sleep testing.
• Implement diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.
• Provide comprehensive patient care.
• Offer direct patient education related to sleep disorders and treatments.
• Maintain expert knowledge of the Cadwell System to ensure high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Credentialed as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT).
• Expert knowledge of sleep testing technology and protocols.
• Strong communication and patient interaction skills.
• Ability to work under supervision and collaborate with a healthcare team.

Position Details

This position requires night shifts, including 12-hour shifts. Please note that candidates must reside outside a 250-mile radius from the facility for consideration.
