Ultrasound Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our healthcare team. This position involves providing high-quality ultrasound imaging for various patients, including inpatients, outpatients, emergency department patients, and neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) patients.

Shift Details

• 10-hour day shifts
• Every Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM
• Two additional shifts during the week with variable start times between 8:00 AM and 1:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations for general and vascular assessments
• Interact with patients to explain procedures and ensure comfort
• Maintain high standards of patient care and safety
• Collaborate with medical staff to deliver quality patient outcomes
• Contribute to the overall efficiency of the unit

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification in at least two specialties
• CPR certification
• Experience with inpatient and outpatient ultrasound imaging
• Experience in emergency department settings and NICU preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health record (EHR) system

Additional Information

Mandatory overtime may be required based on unit needs, and personnel may be floated or reassigned to different departments or facilities within a reasonable distance as necessary.

Vaccination Requirements

The COVID-19 vaccine is required, with medical and religious exemptions allowed. Additionally, a flu vaccine is required, with similar exemptions applicable.
