Acute Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated Acute Respiratory Therapist to join our team in a critical access setting. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality respiratory care to a diverse patient population across all ages.

• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend / As needed
• Call Requirements: As needed

Required Certifications

• ACLS
• BLS
• NRP
• PALS

Qualifications

Applicants must have at least one year of experience in a relevant setting. Proficiency in independent work is essential, given the nature of a critical access environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with experience in emergency room and critical care settings preferred.

• Number of Beds: 25
• Equipment: BiPAP/CPAP, Ventilators, Vapotherm
• EHR System: Meditech

Patient Population

We provide care to patients of all ages, ensuring a comprehensive approach to respiratory therapy.

Work Environment

The role involves working independently and being the sole respiratory therapist on shift. Competence in handling a variety of respiratory conditions and treatments is necessary.

Dress Code

Scrubs of any color are acceptable, with no casual attire permitted.
