Certified Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Respiratory Therapist to join our team in a dynamic healthcare environment. The position is night shift, providing essential respiratory care to patients.

Position Information

• Role: Respiratory Therapist (RT)
• Shift: Nights (6:30 PM – 6:45 AM)
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend

• Number of Openings: 1
• Patient Population: Adults
• Years of Experience: 1-2 years
• Required Certifications: Current and valid Respiratory Therapist certification

Responsibilities

The Certified Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for:

• Administering respiratory therapy treatments to patients of various ages.
• Monitoring and assessing patient respiratory status.
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Maintaining equipment and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
• Educating patients and families on respiratory health and treatments.

Qualifications

• Required Education: Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Must Have Skills/Experience: Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with strong clinical skills.
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Experience in a critical care or acute care setting.

Additional Information

Orientation is conducted weekly on Mondays. Candidates applying for this traveling position should be prepared to adhere to site-specific policies and procedures.
