Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our rehabilitation team. This role is pivotal in providing exceptional patient care and enhancing the quality of life for individuals recovering from various conditions.

Position Information

• Role: RN
• Specialty: Rehabilitation (Med/Surg)
• Number of Openings: 1
• Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend required
• Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:6/7 during the day and 1:8 at night; each nurse has a dedicated tech
• Number of Beds: 81 private rooms

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for:

• Providing direct patient care while collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed while ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
• Educating patients and families regarding care plans, treatment options, and rehabilitation processes.
• Addressing the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of patients, focusing on improving functional abilities and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Required Education: RN certification
• Required Licensure: RN licensed in the state
• Required Certification: BLS (CPR) Certification
• Minimum Experience: 2 years
• Preferred Certification: CRRN
