Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Telemetry

Position Overview

This role involves providing quality healthcare to patients in a fast-paced medical/surgical telemetry unit. Ideal candidates will have a solid background in Med/Surg and telemetry nursing, with a dedication to delivering exceptional patient care.

Position Information

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend or as needed
• Call Requirements: As needed

Unit Information

• Floor: Medical/Surgical Unit (Combination 2)
• Trauma Level: III
• Patient Ratios: To be determined
• Equipment: Omnicell for medication dispensing
• EHR: Meditech
• Patient Population: All ages

Qualifications

• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Skills: IV insertion, telemetry monitoring
• Education: License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state
• Personality Fit: Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills

• Dress Code: Scrubs (Any color, casual wear not acceptable)
• Float Requirements: Willingness to float to similar units as needed
