ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to critically ill patients. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, recording relevant data and reporting changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions, treatment plans, and ongoing care.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.

Requirements

• Current ACLS and BLS certification.
• Experience with Cerner electronic medical records system is preferred.
• An active nursing license and permanent address located 50+ miles from the facility.
• Must be willing to float to other units as necessary.
• A minimum of 1 year of ICU nursing experience is required.

Scheduling

This position offers a day shift schedule from 7 am to 7 pm. The facility can accommodate requests for up to 48 hours per week based on availability.
