Job Description

The Float Pool provides essential staffing support across multiple locations within the region. This role requires the ability to adapt to various assignments, primarily focusing on labor and delivery. Candidates should be comfortable working in a dynamic environment with different scheduling needs, including evening and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide labor management, delivery care, and postpartum care for mothers and newborns.
• Effectively monitor fetal health and respond to any complications during labor and delivery.
• Float between designated facilities as required, demonstrating flexibility in assignment locations.
• Utilize electronic health records efficiently to maintain patient documentation and care coordination.

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license is required.
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification is mandatory.
• AHA ACLS, NRP, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Preferred: Fetal Monitoring Certification and STABLE.
• Minimum of 2 years of labor experience, including labor management, delivery care, fetal monitoring, and postpartum care.
• Verification of high school diploma or equivalent is required due to testing regulations.
• Proficiency in Epic electronic health records is necessary.
• Must have a personal vehicle for travel between various locations as needed.
