Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced Adult Emergency Department (ED). This state-of-the-art facility handles over 100,000 visits annually and is recognized as one of the busiest trauma centers in the country. As a Level I trauma hospital, we cater to a diverse patient population and also assist with border patients.

Job Duties

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
• Manage and assess patients with various critical and non-critical conditions.
• Utilize telemetry skills to monitor patients’ health status effectively.

Requirements

• Current RN License (New York State only)
• Minimum of two (2) years of Emergency Department experience
• Telemetry experience is essential
• Previous travel experience in the Emergency Department is required

Certifications

• BLS (American Heart Association only)
• ACLS (American Heart Association only)
• NIHSS Certification

Schedule

This position offers rotating shifts, including day, evening, and night schedules. Candidates should be prepared to work floating shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call as necessary.
