ICU/CCU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ICU/CCU Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong clinical skills, a commitment to providing high-quality patient care, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Unit Profile

• Department: Critical Care Unit (CCU)
• Trauma Level: III
• Number of Openings: 1
• Shift: 7A – 7P
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Requirements: As needed/every other
• Call Requirements: As needed

Position Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill patients.
• Conduct thorough assessments, develop nursing care plans, and implement interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Manage acute medical conditions and respond to emergencies efficiently.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Educate patients and families regarding their conditions and treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, HWC, NIH.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in ICU/CCU, with at least 2 completed travel assignments.
• Preferred Skillset: Previous experience with Meditech EHR.
• Education: Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
