OB Registered Nurse

Schedule

12-hour shifts; 4 days per week; All rotating shift schedules.

Job Duties

Provide direct care to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients across various risk levels, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team in labor and delivery. Candidates must exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize and solve problems in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a commitment to patient- and family-centered care. In addition to the primary role within this unit, employees will be oriented and trained in various competencies and modes of care across the OB service. Floating among units to meet the variable needs of volume and acuity is an ongoing expectation for all OB/GYN nurses.

Job Requirements

• Active RN License (New York only)
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in labor and delivery

Certifications

• BLS (American Heart Association only)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Required
