Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN)

The organization is seeking dedicated Critical Care Registered Nurses to provide exceptional care within multiple locations in the region, specifically in the PICU and CVICU units.

Position Overview

The ideal candidate will coordinate and deliver family-centered nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents, utilizing the nursing process. They will be accountable for both independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions performed in collaboration with other healthcare team members.

Schedule

• Employment Type: 0.9 FTE (36 hours/week) or 1.2 FTE (48 hours/week)
• Shifts: Straight days, straight nights, or rotating open shifts
• Shift Length: 12 hours (7 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. or 7 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.)
• Weekends: Every other weekend
• Assignment Length: 12 weeks
• Start Date: Between October 19, 2026, and January 10, 2027

Uniform Requirements

Uniform: Royal blue scrub bottoms, with a kid-friendly shirt or scrub top.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current RN license or MN Temp Permit-RN
• BLS certification
• PALS certification
• Minimum of 18 months of PICU nursing experience, including the ability to care for pre-operative and immediate post-operative surgical patients, trauma patients, or
• 18 months of pediatric CVICU nursing experience with competency in caring for pre-operative and post-operative cardiac surgical patients, as well as pre- and post-cardiac procedural patients.
