Registered Nurse – Operating Room (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in circulating within the operating room and will have the ability to float between multiple locations to meet staffing needs.

Schedule

This position requires a Monday to Friday schedule from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM. Flexibility is essential, as the role includes rotating late coverage.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a circulator in the operating room, ensuring a safe and effective surgical environment.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and adhere to protocols to maintain high standards of patient care.
• Float to different operating rooms as needed to ensure adequate staffing and support patient needs.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a surgical nursing role.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.

Holiday Expectations

Employees must be available to work 2 major holidays out of the 3: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day, as well as 1 minor holiday: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve.
