Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic surgical team. This position requires both expertise in nursing and proficiency in operating room procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide optimal care to patients undergoing surgical procedures within the operating room.
• Collaborate effectively with surgical teams to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to any changes during surgical procedures.
• Utilize advanced nursing skills, including circulating in the OR.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to all safety protocols.

Shift Details

• Night Shift: 3×12 Hour shifts from 18:45 to 06:15

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level 1 Trauma and Neuro unit; 3-4 years preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Experience with Ortho, Spine, and Neuro procedures is necessary; no Cardiac or Transplant cases will be handled.
• Ability to be flexible with scheduling and willing to work on weekends and holidays as required.

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• High volume of cases expected, ranging from 60 to 70.
• No on-call duties required.
• Location is a Magnet-recognized Level 1 Trauma center, further enhancing clinical experience and professional development.

Parking Details

• Daily parking cost: $13 during the day and $4 during the night.
• An offsite parking option is available with shuttle services from 5 am to 10 pm, Monday to Friday.

RTO Policy

• Travelers can request time off for one of three major holidays and three additional non-holiday days outside restricted dates.
• No more than six days off are permitted within the specified timeframes.
