Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

We are seeking dedicated and experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses (ER RNs) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This position includes a 36-hour guarantee per week, working 3×12-hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Assess and monitor patients with various medical conditions, including trauma, cardiac, and neuro cases.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems for documentation and medication management.
• Assist in triaging patients to determine priority of care.
• Supervise support staff during peak hours.

Facility Information:

• Level IV Trauma Center with 30 private ER rooms, including a six-room EDOU observation unit.
• 6 fast track beds for non-urgent issues, managed with a Physician Assistant.
• Specific rooms dedicated to patient monitoring and seclusion as needed.
• Average of 100 patients seen daily, with a nurse to patient ratio of 1:3 or 1:4.
• Support staff includes 5 techs during peak hours.

Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of RN experience in an emergency or critical care setting.
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC.

Additional Information:

• Scrub color is flexible; however, all black scrubs are not permitted. Scrubs are not provided by the employer.
