Neuro ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Description:

We are seeking experienced Neuro ICU Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team. This position offers a rotating shift schedule, with guaranteed hours for both 36-hour and 48-hour workweeks. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to patients in the Neuro ICU unit.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the Neuro ICU.
• Monitor vital signs and administer medications as per the treatment plan.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate records and reports regarding patient care.

Qualifications:

• Two or more years of full-time RN experience in a Neuro ICU at a Level I Trauma Center is required.
• A valid and unencumbered RN license for the state of Hawaii is required.
• Current certifications in BLS/HCP, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS are mandatory.
• ASN or BSN degree preferred.
• CRRT experience is highly desired.

Compliance and Additional Requirements:

• All licenses and certifications must be valid at the time of application and throughout the contract duration.
• Requested time off during the initial contract is limited to a maximum of 7 days, from Wednesday through Wednesday.
• Compliance must be completed no later than 10 days prior to the contract start date.
• Travel may involve floating to areas of equal or lesser acuity based on operational needs.
