Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a specialty in Emergency Room (ER) to join our dynamic team. The Emergency Department operates 24/7 and plays a vital role in providing urgent care to a diverse patient population.

Shift Details

• 12-hour Mids shifts
• 36-hour guarantee per week
• Requirement to work every other weekend
• Holidays may be required as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and develop care plans based on individual needs.
• Triaging patients and determining the urgency of care required.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records.
• Participate in departmental meetings and training as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of current Emergency Department experience in a hospital setting.
• Preferred: Minimum of 3 months travel nursing experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• All certifications must be current and uploaded for consideration.
• Travelers must have reliable transportation for this role.

Certification Requirements

• Active Vermont RN license or Compact RN license
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Current Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Additional Notes

• Travelers may not take all holidays off and must be available to work during key holiday periods.
• All requested time off must be provided at the time of application.
