Emergency Room Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Nurse to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in an emergency setting.
• Assess patient needs, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Perform necessary medical procedures in accordance with best practices.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans and progress.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
• Float to other areas within the Emergency Department as needed.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting.
• Active Minnesota nursing license (non-compact state).
• Current certifications: NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).

Work Schedule

• Night shifts, 12 hours each.
• 36 hours per week.
• Weekend and holiday availability may be required.
