Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in a Stepdown unit. The ideal candidate will integrate collaborative care planning for individual patients and implement nursing standards throughout the processes of care. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a supportive environment for patients and their families.

Shift Details

• 12-hour night shifts
• 36-hour guarantee per week
• Every other weekend and holiday requirements, as needed

Patient Care Responsibilities

• Maintain a patient ratio of 6:1 maximum
• Collaborate with a team that includes 2 LNA’s, a Nurse Lead, and a House Supervisor
• Utilize EPIC EMR for patient documentation and care

Qualifications

• 3+ years of current Medical Surgical experience
• 2+ years of experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Stepdown setting
• Charge nurse experience is required
• Previous travel experience is preferred
• Registered Nurse license or Compact license for the state of New Hampshire
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association

Additional Requirements

• Profile must include a work history and skills checklist for Medical Surgical and Stepdown/PCU, current to within the past year
• One supervisory signed reference from the past two years of employment
• Traveler must have their own vehicle for commuting
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be included in the profile at the time of submission; approval for RTO requests after submission will not be granted

Orientation and Scheduling

• No non-billable orientation hours
• Travelers are encouraged to have flexibility around holiday scheduling, particularly for two blocks during key holidays
