Physical Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to provide high-quality patient care in a home health setting. This role involves working with patients in the greater Sacramento county area and requires a commitment to improving patients’ physical health and mobility.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic services to patients with various diagnoses, including cardiac, pulmonary, orthopedic, neurological, and geriatric conditions.
• Manage a typical caseload of 5-6 patients per day, ensuring adherence to productivity goals.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment regimens and home care practices.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapy Assistant license.
• Experience in home health is preferred but not required; new graduates may be considered in exceptional circumstances.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, with mileage reimbursement available at the GSA rate with prior approval.
