Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our dynamic team. This position will float between various units and requires availability for block scheduling, including weekends every other week. Candidates must possess a valid Washington State license.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients across multiple units.
• Support and collaborate with medical staff to ensure optimal patient care.
• Monitor and assess patient respiratory conditions and responses to therapy.
• Utilize Epic for charting and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Washington State Respiratory Care License (WA LIC IN HAND).
• Experience in short-term acute care and trauma settings is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Schedule & Ratios

• Shifts consist of three 12-hour nights, from 19:00 to 07:00.
• Patient ratios expected to be 1:11.
• Block schedules will be utilized to manage workload and staffing needs.

• Type of Facility: Short Term Acute Care / Level II Trauma Center.
• Total Staffed Beds: 629.
• This facility operates as a teaching hospital.
• No parking fees for staff.
