Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. This position focuses on delivering high-quality respiratory care in a critical care environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in neuro diagnostics and be prepared to work in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients in need of assistance.
• Conduct diagnostic tests and interpret results related to respiratory function.
• Administer various therapies and medications as prescribed, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop patient care plans.
• Monitor patient responses to treatments and adjust care as needed.
• Educate patients and families regarding respiratory conditions and care plans.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives in the unit.

Shift Information

This position primarily involves night shifts, comprising three 12-hour shifts per week, from 19:00 to 07:00.

Call Requirements

The selected candidate will have the flexibility to choose call dates, with an expectation of approximately five call days within a six-week period.

Qualifications

• Active RRT certification.
• Experience in respiratory care, preferably with neuro diagnostics expertise.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments.
