NICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated NICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a Level II NICU setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to preterm and ill newborns, ensuring their well-being and health during their stay.

Role Responsibilities

• Caring for Level II NICU admissions with newborns 32 weeks or greater.
• Attending vaginal and cesarean deliveries, including high-risk deliveries.
• Administering CPAP/BiPap as needed.
• Utilizing feeding tubes and syringe pumps as part of patient care.
• Providing floating support to other units as required.
• Ensuring that NICU travel nurses are not tasked with caring for mother-baby couplets unless they possess the necessary skills and competencies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in NICU.
• Current certifications in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider (CLS).
• Active compact nursing license accepted across various facilities.

Schedule

This position requires commitment to night shifts, specifically 3×12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30.

Additional Information

All previous permanent employees of any affiliated facility must be separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months in order to qualify for a travel position.
