Acute Travel Registered Nurse (RN): Labor & Delivery

We are seeking an experienced Acute Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor & Delivery. This position is a night shift role from 7 PM to 7 AM, offering flexible scheduling options.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Labor & Delivery department.
• Monitor and assess patients during the labor process, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Utilize advanced technology and equipment to support patient care, including fetal monitoring.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation through the electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient care services.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Iowa.
• 1-2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery, with consideration for travel experience.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE.
• Must pass a comprehensive background check, including criminal and child abuse screenings.
• Mandatory reporter certification for both children and adults.
• Recent titers (within the last 12 months) for MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and TB required.

Shift Information

• Shift timings: 7 PM – 7 AM.
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 or 48 available.
• Weekend coverage required: every other weekend.
• No on-call responsibilities.
