Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Acute Travel Registered Nurse for the Med/Surg unit. This position is critical in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring optimal outcomes for patients in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to the healthcare team promptly.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
• Educate patients and families about health management and disease prevention.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records following organizational policies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid nursing license.
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience required, preferably in a Med/Surg setting.
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare team members and patients.
• Ability to adapt to various situations while maintaining high standards of care.
