Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurse to join our team. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical environment, ensuring high standards of clinical excellence and patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient conditions and vital signs, and report changes to the medical team.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create and implement individualized care plans.
• Provide patient education on health management and disease prevention.
• Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with regulations.
• Attend to patient needs with compassion and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Med/Surg setting.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

Orientation for this position is conducted weekly. Candidates must have complete and clear screenings prior to starting the role.
