Registered Nurse (RN) – Complex Medical Unit – Acute Care

We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a position in the Complex Medical Unit specializing in Acute Care. This role is vital for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Position Details

• Start Dates: November 16th & November 30th
• Ratios: Typically 1:6, may vary according to patient needs
• Shift: Night shifts, 3×12 hours (19:00 – 07:00)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Qualifications

• Years of Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years in a comparable acuity hospital
• Certifications Required: BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Pending License: Not accepted; must possess an active and unencumbered TN (or multi-state) RN license
• Special Requirements: Experience with Cerner EMR

• On-call Requirement: No on-call duties required
• Block Schedule Accommodation: Attempts will be made to accommodate based on unit needs
• Time Off Restrictions: Requests for entire weeks during the holidays will not be approved; individual dates may be negotiated based on staffing needs

As part of the onboarding process, candidates must successfully complete a basic dysrhythmia interpretation test and a medication test during orientation.
