Surgical Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in surgical procedures by managing instruments, supplies, and equipment effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during surgical procedures.
• Develop an understanding of the surgical procedures being performed and begin to anticipate the surgeon’s needs.
• Possibly float to other units, departments, or patient care areas based on staffing and operational needs.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
• Less than 1 year of experience is preferred.
• BLS/BCLS certification required.
• Ability to meet performance expectations; contracts may be terminated if these are not met.

Working Conditions

• Varied shifts – 4×10 schedule.
• Holiday coverage may be required.
