Surgical Technologist

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in surgical procedures and possess a commitment to patient care within a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

• Varied shifts between 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• On-call requirements as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Assist surgical teams in preparing for and conducting surgical procedures.
• Ensure the operating room is sterile and properly equipped for surgeries.
• Maintain surgical instruments and assist with their handling during procedures.
• Monitor patient needs before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other medical staff to provide optimal patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Surgical Technologist within the specialty.
• Current AHA BLS certification is required.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist from NBSTA or NCCT is preferred.

Holiday Requirements

Candidates must be available to work on two major holidays from the following list: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, and one minor holiday: Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve.
