Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a dedicated Surgical Technologist to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate must have recent experience and be able to demonstrate proficiency in surgical procedures.

Schedule

Varied shifts will be required from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and handling of surgical instruments and supplies.
• Ensure the sterile field is maintained during surgical procedures.
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, nurses, and other surgical personnel.
• Manage instruments and supplies effectively throughout surgical procedures.
• Participate in the cleaning and maintenance of surgical instruments and equipment.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a surgical specialty is required.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) by AHA is mandatory.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist through NBSTA or NCCT is preferred.

Holiday Expectations

Candidates must be available to work 2 major holidays from the following: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year’s Day. Additionally, working one minor holiday, such as the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve, is required.
