Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated nursing care to patients or assigned groups of patients, adhering to established standards of care and the nursing process. This role involves supervising and directing the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, as well as coordinating care with other healthcare disciplines.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse will utilize critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in their responsibilities. The successful candidate will focus on evaluating and promoting a safe healing environment for patients.

Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) – Preferred
• Acute care facility experience – Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice – Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor – Required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor – Required

Essential Functions

• Collects relevant data related to the patient’s health or situation.
• Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues.
• Develops and executes care plans that outline prescribed interventions to achieve patient outcomes.
• Implements care plans, coordinates delivery of care, and promotes a healthy, safe environment.
• Evaluates progress towards achieving desired patient outcomes.
• Identifies outcomes pertinent to the patient or their situation.
• Collaborates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure a humane and caring environment.
• Provides educational opportunities for patients, families, and team members regarding health information.
• Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegates tasks appropriately and coordinates duties among healthcare team members.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
