Medical Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical Technologist to join our team on a 7 on, 7 off day schedule. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise and professionalism while working independently, as they will frequently be the sole technician on site.

Responsibilities

• Perform various laboratory tests and analysis according to established protocols and standards.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of results.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
• Adhere to quality control and safety protocols to ensure laboratory compliance.
• Assist with blood bank procedures, if applicable.
• Available for on-call shifts during scheduled weeks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience as a Medical Technologist.
• Experience in blood bank procedures is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Schedule

This position requires a commitment to a 7 on, 7 off shift pattern from 7 AM to 7 PM, with responsibilities on call during the night of the scheduled week.
