Registered Respiratory Therapist – NICU

Position Overview:

We are seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team in the NICU, PICU, and CVICU, working with pediatric patients. This role involves providing high-level respiratory care and support in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy to NICU, PICU, and CVICU patients.
• Conduct assessments and provide interventions for pediatric patients requiring respiratory support.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create individualized care plans.
• Perform diagnostic tests and maintain patient records accurately.
• Participate in patient education and family support initiatives.
• Float to various units as needed, including specialty pediatric rehab and high-level NICUs within the region.

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid Ohio RRT license.
• Current certifications in NBRC, BLS, Advanced NRP, and PALS required.
• A minimum of one-year experience working in pediatric, PICU, and NICU settings, particularly within high-level care environments.

Work Schedule:

Available schedules may include three 12-hour shifts or four 12-hour shifts.

Contract Duration:

Position available for a 24-week contract, with options for a 13-week commitment still accepted.

Additional Requirements:

• Completion of two fingerprinting processes: one onsite for facility requirements and another through the agency.
• All work history, including relevant positions held, must be included in the submission profile.
• Provide all required certifications at the time of submission.
