Respiratory Therapist (Allied)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two years of recent experience in respiratory care within a clinical setting. This position involves the provision of therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory services to patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory treatments as prescribed by medical professionals.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care.
• Assist in the management of ventilators and other respiratory equipment.
• Educate patients and their families regarding respiratory care techniques and equipment.

Qualifications

• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Georgia Respiratory Therapist license and NBRC-RRT certification are mandatory.
• A minimum of two years of recent experience in respiratory care is required.
• Two professional references are required.

Schedule Expectations

This position requires a variable schedule, including night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM and mandatory work every other weekend. Additionally, the candidate must be available to work during major holidays, specifically two out of three: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day. One minor holiday, such as the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve, is also required.
