Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures that utilize radioactive materials. This role involves both interacting with patients and working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

Hours and Schedule

• Available shifts:
  • 5×8 hours (08:00 AM – 04:30 PM)
  • 4×10 hours (07:00 AM – 05:30 PM)
• Monday to Friday schedule.
• Guaranteed hours based on contracted shifts, with a call-off policy of 2 shifts per 13-week assignment.

Floating Requirements

The selected traveler will be required to float within scope to meet facility needs and may need to float between similar units as necessary.

Qualifications

• Experience in Nuclear Medicine preferred; first-timers encouraged to apply.
• ACLS certification may be required depending on the department’s needs.
• Ability to accommodate block scheduling is preferred, though not guaranteed.

Special Requirements

• Return staff must be gone for at least one year to be eligible to return as a traveler.
• System has a contract limit of two (can only extend once) after which the individual must be away for 6 months before returning.
• Local candidates are not accepted due to a 50-mile radius rule from the main location.
