Acute Travel RN: Med/Surg

We are seeking an experienced Acute Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med/Surg team. This position requires immediate availability and will support patient care needs on a dedicated unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Position Overview

• Full-time travel nursing role for a Med/Surg unit.
• Night shift schedule (7 PM – 7 AM).
• Orientation held weekly on Mondays.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg environment.
• Assess patient conditions and implement nursing interventions as necessary.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
• Monitor and document patient progress effectively.
• Educate patients and their families regarding care plans and health management.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience.
• Must be available to start within 2 weeks of offer.
• Ability to meet all pre-employment screening requirements.
• Clearance requirements include child abuse history, Department of Human Services fingerprinting, FBI fingerprinting, and PA State Police Clearance.
