Acute Travel RN: Med/Surg

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Acute Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a Med/Surg unit. This position requires a commitment to excellence in patient care, with a focus on delivering high-quality services in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical unit.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the medical team.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and post-discharge care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Med/Surg setting.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing conditions and handle multiple priorities.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Orientation and Training

Orientation is available weekly, with the first day starting on Monday. All candidates must be prepared to complete necessary screenings prior to commencement of employment.

Additional Information

This position will require candidates to be flexible and ready to begin work within a two-week timeframe. Candidates will not be able to take holiday time off during the initial commitment period.
