Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Surgical PCU and be willing to float between multiple locations as needed.

Shift Notes

• Standard shift is from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
• 36 hours scheduled with 24 hours guaranteed.
• One shift per week may be canceled by the organization.
• Willingness to float to similar units is required.

Weekend and On-Call Requirements

Weekend and on-call requirements will be determined by the facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months of PCU experience with recent experience in the last 12 months (required).
• Life support certifications must be from AHA, ARC, or ASHI (required).
• No hits on state license to practice (required).
• RTO must not exceed 7 days and cannot include the first week of assignment (required).
• Driver’s license to verify residency (required).
• Travel experience is highly preferred.

Profile Requirements

• Complete cover page as per requirements (required).
• Updated resume listing all facilities, departments worked, trauma level designation, and number of beds (required).
• PCU skills checklist completed within the last 12 months (required).
• Active license to practice, verified in the last 30 days (required).
• Active ACLS certification from an approved vendor (required).
• Active BLS certification from an approved vendor (required).
• Driver’s license documentation (required).
