Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position is crucial in providing high-quality patient care in the operating room environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room for surgical procedures.
• Provide direct patient care and support during surgeries.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimum patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient vital signs and manage anesthesia as needed.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Operating Room.
• Proficiency in orthopedic, neurosurgical, and robotic procedures. Screening may occur if 2 out of 3 skills are present.
• Epic electronic health record experience is required.
• Must hold current ACLS and BLS certifications; CNOR certification is preferred.
• First-time travelers are not accepted unless they have 5 years of experience without skill screens.

Work Schedule

• This position will require working 3 out of 5 major holidays.
• Weekend shifts are required every other weekend, with the possibility of exceeding this requirement based on unit needs.
• Call rotation will be required post-shift and on weekends.

Additional Information

• RTO (Request Time Off) must be included at the time of submission.
• Guaranteed hours can be called off once per bi-weekly pay period.
• Must be open to working in multiple locations within the region.
