Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a dayshift position with responsibilities that may include floating to the Med/Surg unit as needed.

Shift Details

• Shift: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Must be available to cover the holiday schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Assist with the delivery process, including receiving newborns.
• Float to the Med/Surg unit when patient census is low, utilizing previous Med/Surg experience.

Qualifications

• Current certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) are required.
• Must possess prior experience in a delivery room setting.
• Previous Med/Surg experience is required due to occasional patient assignments in that unit.
• Competency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems, specifically Cerner.
