Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical-Surgical care. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care to adults and geriatric populations in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Details

• 12-hour day shifts
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and holiday availability required

Role Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients in a Medical-Surgical setting.
• Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and implement nursing interventions.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions, treatments, and care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical records (EMR), specifically Epic.
• Float to other departments as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical nursing.
• Current New Hampshire RN license or Compact license.
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Active American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Active NIH Stroke Certification.
• Proficient in using Epic EMR.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle.
• Willingness to be flexible with scheduling and floating to other units as required.

Travelers must meet all medical and occupational health compliance requirements within five days of accepting an offer. All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission.
