Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working with a collaborative team to deliver exceptional healthcare services.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data to ensure patient safety and respond appropriately to emergencies.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while adhering to evidence-based practices.
• Document patient assessments, care plans, and progress notes accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and improve patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on health management, discharge planning, and post-discharge support.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required.
• MUST possess a valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state license.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are mandatory.

Shift Information

This position requires working night shifts: 3 – 12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
