Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality care to residents in a long-term care and skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary skills and compassion to assist patients with activities of daily living and ensure a comfortable and supportive environment.

Shift Information

• Shift: Evenings
• Shift Length: 8 hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Schedule: 14:15 – 22:45; every other weekend and holiday

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Monitor and document residents’ vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff.
• Help residents with mobility, including transferring and repositioning.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Engage residents in recreational and social activities to promote well-being.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
• Current BLS Certification required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as required.

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 128
• Staff Ratios: Days 1:11; Evenings 1:11-16; Nights 1:16
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): PCC
• Common Diagnoses: Various diagnoses across the spectrum.
• Location-specific orientation provided.

Notes

• Every other weekend and holiday commitment is required.
• Location-specific orientation will be completed with staff upon hiring.
