NICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated NICU Registered Nurse to join our team. This position is essential for providing high-quality care to critically ill newborns in a Level III NICU. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Position Details

• Shift: Day shifts, 3×12 hour shifts (06:00 – 18:30)
• Weekend Schedule: Every other weekend, may exceed based on unit needs
• Float Requirements: May float to similar units as necessary

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to newborns in the NICU.
• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions and document all care and changes in medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate families on neonatal care and health management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a NICU setting.
• Current certifications: BCLS, NRP, and PALS.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of care.

Additional Information

All required time-off (RTO) must be provided at the time of submission, and approval will depend on facility needs. The organization allows for the cancellation of 1 shift per 2 weeks. Free parking is available for staff.
