Physical Therapist (PT)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide high-quality care in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population, including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. This position offers a supportive work environment with a focus on patient-centered care.

Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• Available shifts: 0830-1630 or 0930-1800 (3x per week)
• No call or weekend shifts
• Travel to multiple locations required (about 15 minutes apart)

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including AROM, AAROM, PROM, assistive devices, pain assessment, and strength testing.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care, including short-term and long-term goals.
• Document all patient interactions and progress using WellSky and Epic documentation systems.
• Engage in patient and family education, emphasizing home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain time management and organization throughout patient interactions.

Qualifications

• Valid BLS certification required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a similar role.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Professional Skills and Knowledge Required

• Ability to assess and document patient needs accurately.
• Strong communication skills, utilizing the SBAR model.
• Experience in treating general orthopedic and neurological conditions.
