Physical Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team. This role involves planning and conducting treatment programs aimed at restoring and enhancing physical, social, and mental functions for patients. The ideal candidate should be committed to an interdisciplinary approach in working with patient groups.

Job Summary

The Physical Therapist will be responsible for completing patient evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing appropriate therapy interventions. This position also includes supervising assigned assistants and ensuring comprehensive clinical documentation is completed accurately and promptly.

Essential Functions

• Conduct evaluations to maintain quality standards and assess areas needing attention.
• Utilize clinical techniques to establish individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Implement therapy interventions using recognized treatment protocols and techniques.
• Establish and communicate individualized care and discharge plans to relevant parties.
• Complete thorough and precise clinical documentation within established deadlines.
• Supervise and support assigned physical therapy assistants.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Education and Work Experience

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is required, or a foreign equivalent.
• Two years of experience in physical therapy is preferred.

Licenses/Certifications

• Current Physical Therapy licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.

Organizational Requirements
