Physical Therapist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our outpatient clinic team. The successful candidate will provide care to a diverse patient population, including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, focusing on general orthopedic and neurological diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments including AROM/AAROM/PROM, assistive devices evaluation, pain assessment, and strength testing.
• Document assessments, discharge summaries, evaluations, long-term goals, plans of care, reassessments, and short-term goals using WellSky and Epic documentation systems.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and therapeutic techniques.
• Manage patient care effectively within the established staffing ratio of 1:1.
• Float to nearby locations as needed while maintaining a collaborative approach with the unit secretary and support staff.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in physical therapy.
• Ability to work with a diverse patient population across various age groups.
• Strong knowledge in assessment techniques and documentation requirements.

Work Environment

This position is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with no on-call responsibilities or weekend shifts. Business casual attire is required, and free parking is provided for staff.
