Physical Therapist

Job Summary:

This position involves administering various physical therapy treatments in accordance with the APTA standards to help patients with disabilities, injuries, and diseases. The aim is to relieve pain, restore motor function, and maintain optimal performance.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in physical therapy or a related field.
• Experience: 1-2 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certifications:
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Current California Physical Therapy license or eligibility for registration.
  • A valid California driver’s license when travel is required.

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to monitor the work of others.
• Effective communication skills to interact professionally with patients, nurses, physicians, and other health staff.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Analytical and diagnostic skills for interpreting physician orders and developing effective treatment plans.
• Evidence of automobile insurance when travel is required.
• Establishes and maintains courteous and professional relationships with all staff members and hospital personnel.
